A cold-blooded humanoid who has the power to shape-shift into human form. They have had control over the human race since ancient times. This Reptilian now resides on the dark side of the moon planning his next take over of the human race.

This entity is very beautiful. She is lithely built and very thin. Celestia is so spiritually evolved that she no longer requires a physical body. Her body is almost made completely of light energy,and illuminated in light. Very tall, stand eight to ten feet in height. She is referred to as the Winged Goddess.

Celestia

Long narrow face, slanted large eyes, long insect like body with strong resemblance to the praying mantis. Experiencers have reported this being is no insect but an intelligent, gentle-spirited but somewhat hyper and jerky moving, human like lifeform. Standing around 6ft tall and their coloring ranges from light blue to gold. It used to survive on plant juices but have evolved to the point where they can live directly off the energy of light. Has have wings but do not need them for travel, but sometimes fly's for meditation.

Melissae closes her eyes, she sits in her bed, in the familiar environment of her room, full of plants and books. The famous "Corpus Hermeticum" and the infamous "Grimoire Verum" catch her eye, both stacked next to a rare Tibetan "Book of the Dead" manuscript and a book about Paracelsus. 
So many treasured books she accumulated through the years, many of them a world in themselves, full of wonder and ancient knowledge. 

She stills herself as the sudden rush of excitement mixed with fear rises through her. The moon shines bright, and the air is still, as if time has stopped.

"It's going to be fine, you've been practicing for this your whole life," she tells herself.
 
Melissae looks at her forearm. A discreet tattoo is barely visible there in the dark. "Life. Truth. Balance," it says, her own motto. The law of Maat, the Egyptian Goddess of Truth and Justice. Another tattoo says: "I am divided for Love's sake, for a chance of Union." Aleister Crowley ... she had always thought of him as a genius who was able to tap into the deeper truth of Nature and Divinity, which at its core was Union and Dissolution. A dance of eternal love making between Shiva and Shakti at the Cosmic stage, creating our world in the process.

Calming her thoughts, she wanders back to the present and to her moonlit room. For it is time. She closes her eyes, takes a few deep breaths, and relaxes her body. The world around her is sinking down, and she is sinking into her vision. She's been practicing visionary and shamanic journeying for so many years, and now it's easy for her to get in and out of it, but she can still feel an internal shiver and a bit of anxiety: this time it will be different.
 
Now in her vision, she focuses on her destination: the Cave of the Goddess. 

She knows that these visions are interfaces for the energetic patterns that run underneath all things existing on the physical plane. These interfaces have been used for thousands of years, the visual cues forming a luminous path to her destination. Trees, snakes, caves and rivers - all these immemorial symbols survived the rise and fall of civilizations, becoming paths and interfaces for the initiates who travel the Astral planes. Her thoughts go to all the witches, priest, shamans, all the travelers of the Inner planes who walked this path for millennia before her, and to all those to come. "We are all part of the same family across time and space," she thinks. And she feels deep wonder and connection. "I'm never alone."
 
In her vision, she keeps walking near a river, the air tightening, the sky becoming darker. She can’t see anything but she can feel a presence, a power lying against her chest, pressuring every part of her being. It feels like being enveloped and being read at the same time. "It feels like being in the Womb," she thinks. Melissae arrives in front of a cave entrance. It looks like a giant mouth ready to swallow the whole world: She has arrived at the entrance of the Cave of the Goddess. She can feel the moisture in the air and smell a sweet and strange scent. "Is it mandragora flowers?" she thinks, surprised. She stills herself, taken aback by the silence. A silence deeper and more deafening than she has ever known before. "It's like before time, in the beginning of the beginning, before everything comes into being," she thinks.
 
Then she feels a presence in front of her, in the darkness. She can feel its breath too. 
There is a deep power that resonates in every cell of her being. 
Every part of her vibrates with the Presence in front of her. She is petrified. 
Then, suddenly Melissae hears a voice in her head, thundering and deep: 
"Every part of you is mine, for I am the Mother of all living beings. 
You are part of me as the Stars are part of me, and as every grain of sand is part of me. 
I am the Alpha and the Omega. I am eternal beyond Birth and Death." 
Every part of her being is vibrating, resonating. "It feels like coming home," she thinks. 
She also feels the rising intensity of the Presence. She takes a few deep breaths and stills herself again.

With wonder and courage, she takes a few steps deeper inside the cave. And the Presence is there. Melissae can only see part of Her head. But she is in awe. In front of her sits an immense Lion who towers above her, full of luminescence and power. Her eyes are made of stars, containing entire galaxies in them and her fur is a luminous and glowing white, unlike anything she’s ever seen. Melissae takes a deep breath under the gaze of the Lion, and slowly moves closer to Her. The lion's breath is like a soft breeze caressing her face, strong and intimate at the same time.

When she's close enough, Melissae raises her head and meets the Lion's gaze. She feels everything disappearing around her, dissolving in the immense gaze of the Lion Goddess. All her life dissolves in a micro-second in her head, like grains of sands in the stretch of a million years. 
She sees her own birth, her victories, and her deep wounds. Everything important and insignificant in her life passes by in front of her eyes. "Is this what dying feels like?" she thinks. Strangely she isn’t scared, she feels deep trust and a sense of peace. And finally, she surrenders, and lets all her emotions, regrets, resentment, all her joy and suffering and all her memories flow through her and leave her. She feels free, she feels true, she has become her own essence. She loses the notion of time... she doesn't think anymore, she just feels the vibration of the cave, and she is part of the cave, and she is part of the Lion's Embrace. She is in the primordial Womb, out of time and space: she is back home. 
She is part of everything as everything is part of her. She is the starry vault of Nyx, the Goddess of the immensity of the Cosmos, and she is a brilliant Star.

She can’t remember how much time has passed, but when she comes back from the vision and to herself, it is already dawn. She can see the first light of the sun through her window and feel the hum of the city waking up. She can still feel her whole body vibrating and she feels different. Something has changed in her. She looks around, and everything feels more vibrant, more colorful ... more alive? She can see the liveliness and the light in everything surrounding her. "The world is still the same, but I am different," she thinks. Bathing in the silence of early morning and the first sunlight, she feels deep joy and - for the first time in her life - a sense of safety in her own body. She has finally come home to herself.
 
Then, suddenly, she remembers something. 

She opens her right hand and inside her palm is the gift from the Lion Goddess in the Cave: a luminous strand of her white lion hair. "Take my hair, for each strand is linked to the Fate of a living being, as I am the Giver of life, I am also the Giver of fate. Take yours in your own hands, as you are now free to write your own Fate." Melissae remembers those words. She feels deep gratitude: The Goddess has taken away what no longer serves in her embrace, bringing a necessary ending. For she is the fertile ground of new beginnings and the soil of the first spring, rich and moist, from which new seeds grow. Melissae smiles: new opportunities await her now, as her fate will grow and flourish in new ways. She is serene: The city is coming to life for a new day, and a new day is also beginning in her own life.

*Note*: Lioness has been linked to Goddesses from immemorial time. The most famous one is probably Sekhmet. She was seen as a bringer of necessary endings. Tefnut is another Lion goddess, linked to water, caves, wombs and to the fertility of the land. Fate, beginning and endings are constant themes for Lion Goddesses. They were seen as the ones who give birth and the ones who bring endings, flowing through the cycles of nature. 

I wanted to include all the above in my story.
