In the last 20 years, we have seen technology take such an important role, that its usage has become organically embedded into our daily lives. As its progress keeps on reaching every aspect of our humanity, to the point where even our hormonal cycles are tracked through a device linked to our wrist,  can’t we push this idea further, giving birth to a parallel humanity fathered by the creative spirit within a web3 environment ?


On November the 2nd 2022, Sweet Dopamine, a 27 years old french artist based in Lisbon, will release a 1000 unique NFTs collection of his sperm in order to give birth to the first metahuman. Each sperm (NFT) has its own characteristics and is therefore different from the other 999 sperms. The sperm which eventually fertilizes the metaovary determines the first metahuman. Other factors that will influence the metahuman child's evolution are his or her environment and the interactions with his or her parents -  
the program that selects the NFT is the surrogate mother (metaovary), the artist Sweet Dopamine the father, and the selected NFT owner, the adoptive parent. The metachild is influenced by its predetermined genetics, and the dialogue with its adoptive parent, during 18 years depicted through 18 artworks and 36 texts witnessing its evolution as a being between the virtual and real world.

In his search of understanding our collective modern myths, Sweet Dopamine expresses himself through drawing, painting, digital collages, animation and 3D modelling as a mean of creation and communication with our digital mirror. Introduced to NFTs through a european art collective (ArtDAO), SD decided to choose a different path from the project due to diverging philosophies regarding the web3. For Sweet Dopamine, beyond the speculative aspect of NFTs, web3 awakens the opportunity for a new perspective for mankind: how could we evolve in synchronicity with the spirit of the era ?

We have an exhibition on November the 2d that will mark the fertilization of the meta ovary, every three months 333 NFTs will be ruled out of the competition for the 18 artworks and 36 texts, on our social media, you can find them on the Hashaxis profile.
